The food was average - we went for the flaming cheese wheel - concept oversold. There is no atmosphere. It looks ok at the entrance then when you go in its plain tables with nothing on them. Overpriced - plate of pasta and a wine shared garlic bread $38 per person

Very nice Italian restaurant for a quick, simple but delicious meal. Limited menu helps promote fast service and the pizzas are great. Efficient and friendly service.

Restaurant is really nice. Pizzas delicious. My husband had the beef cheeks which were a let down. Really poor presentation. I had salmon which was nothing fancy but nicely cooked and presented.

Given a table with a minute of arriving at the restaurant although it was busy. Food was very good as usual. My wife had the special of scallop risotto while I had my favourite of pork and veal meatballs!

The atmosphere is very cozy, the service from the staff was impeccable and extremely attentive. The food was wonderful but cold (cheese wheel) but grateful for the service.

The pizza had a meagre amount of topping and full of salt. The cheese plate had a hard cheese with a good texture but no taste. The waiters were very good.

I ordered a Pizza which was perfect. Service friendly and attentive. Tables are not too close next each-other which gives privacy. And no loud music so one was able to have a conversation without shouting! Definitely go back, highly recommended. KL

The food at Salt Meats Cheese is amazing, great value for money. Couldn't finish my pizza but I could take it home in a pizza box, which is a lovely touch. Will definitely be back again.

Food was not that great. We had calamari, beef main, and calzone. The calamari was rubbery and hard, the biggest disappointment of the night. Looking back, I probably should have said something about it since for the price and portion, it should be better than that. The beef main was fine, just missing salt. The calzone filling was good, but the bread dough was thick.

We shared the arancini which were beautiful. Crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. We then shared a pastas and pizza. Both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Add to that a lovely bottle of Pinot Grigio and we left very happy. Service was great too!

Went for the all you can eat pizza. Pizza choices are good and a few to choose from. I think its one of the best pizza bases in sydney and great value for money. Decore is good so all in all a good place to meet friends

So good! The ability too add meat to the cheese wheel pasta as a topping would be even better! Everything from the cocktails to the mains is incredible!

Loved the calamari and the garlic bread. We weren’t asked if we wanted dessert but it might have been because we didn’t sit down until 8 so time ran out. Overall the food and service was great and we had a fab night

Service and food were both excellent, the theatre of the 'Flaming cheese wheel' done at the table was amazing! Definitely go on a Wednesday night to try it.

Great service and great pizza! The all you can eat deal is great as if you get more than 2 then it’s great value and you save $! Will go back for sure.

Made a booking for the all you can eat vegan pizza and pasta. Received a call as we were walking in to tell us that some things had run out, the menu we were given upon arrival was a joke. Only 3/7 items availableand those with no cheese, no mushrooms, waste of time. Could have been planned better. We were asked if we were actually vegan. Very disapointing.

Wait staff was excellent - food was good - lady greeting us, her attitude was terrible, literally yelled at us for standing at the bar asking for a cocktail menu “because it was too busy for us to stand there” Thankyou for having vegan options

Food was good, prices pretty good for the taste and the service. Pasta portions are not that big but they taste good and fresh. Pizza portions are pretty good. Service was a bit hard to reach on the day because it seemed like they were understaffed on the floor for how busy it was and you had to reach out to the staff a couple of times since they had over things to attend. However they all had very good attitude. For those who want to have a dinner date: The place is a bit noisy

Poor organization for the vegan pizza event: run out of cheese, mushrooms, dough and pumpkin. Excellent service, very friendly staff and good cocktails. Not again..

We attended the all-you-can-way-vegan event. Upon arrival, we were informed that there was no notz-so-rella left. Most of the menu relied on this ingredient so the dishes we had suffered as a result. At one point we were served a pizza with actual cheese on it and when we asked to have it removed, the waiter asked us if we were “actually vegan” to see if they could get away with leaving it on there. The penne dish was undercooked and dripping in oil. The wait times were also lengthy for food that was sub par. The only good dish was the gnocchi and the sauce in it could have been put into other dishes to make up for their lack of sauce and notz-so-rella. Salt Meats Cheese will need to try harder with its vegan menu if it wants to attract vegan customers.

Very good value for money. Food was good. Only negative was service - was hard to get their attention - seemed like they may have been understaffed given it was a busy Friday lunch.

Really good cheese wheel pasta, nice portion sizes. Only thing was music was too loud so hard to chat with friends at the table. Staff was courteous and helpful.

We waited more than an hour for our first meal to arrive - then another 15 mins for the rest of our table to receive theirs. An $18 caprese salad was barely visible on the plate and staff were disinterested. The chicken special’s main ingredient was oil - left us with an aftertaste worse than KFC regret. Planned a special lunch to welcome a special guest and was left embarrassed not to mention hangry.

Food and service was really good... There could be more choices on the weekly specials... Due to season, there were a few mosquitoes under the table that didn’t allow us to make the most of it
