Amok Restaurant

We visited on the restaurants first anniversary and were treated to a free entree and glass of sparkling; lovely touch. Cozy venue, BRILLIANT food, great cocktails, attentive but unintrusive service, reasonably priced if not on the slightly (only slightly) high side; but with the food and service of such high quality it's well worth it. My new go-to restaurant

Love this place! Amazing food, service, and relaxed atmosphere. Don't miss the chicken ribs, lamb cutlets and BBQ pork buns. BYO is a bonus. Highest recommendation.

Delicious food & efficient, friendly service. This was our second time at Amok and once again we could not fault it. Staff are efficient and attentive without being over-bearing. Food is absolutely delicious with incredible flavour combinations. Will definitely be back for more.

It was the first time I had Cambodian. It was delicious and the waitress was great. She was very helpful in providing advice on the meal.

Highly recommended. We had a cut down version of the tasting menu. Loved the prawn bun with chocolate bacon, pork ribs and duck curry. Delicious!

The food was excellent !! To die for. Delicious. It was a very, very hot night but it was nice and cool and confortable. The staff were delightful.

We had our Christmas function at Amok restaurant and we were very impressed with every dish that came out. The whole dining couldn't get any better. we would like to thanks chef Woody and his team for being so accommodated on our requirements such as kid meal/vegetarian options and allergy. Highly recommend to everyone who want to try cambodian foods!

Sensational food; the BBQ pork belly bun bao was "to die for" and the three other dishes we tried were delicious. Will definitely be back for more. Friendly and attentive staff. Being able to book is a real bonus. Loved the whole experience!

Haven eaten at Amok a few times, I can highly recommend this restaurant. Food is delicious, I would recommend the sampler menu, great value. Staff were great and very attentive.

So, so, so delicious. I particularly loved the crispy soft shell crab in a brioche bun, and the kingfish on betel leaves. Great value for money, too!

Amok is well worth a visit!! The service is great and the food is amazing. The tastes that "popped" from every dish we tried were absolutely delightful. We will be back .. regularly. If this is a sample of what Cambodia has to offer .. it should be added to everyone's bucket list!!!

When there for our date night had a wonderful time. Love the food. Great place to dine. The chef and staffs was very friendly. Would recommend it for everyone.

A casual, relaxed restaurant with friendly service and delicious food. It was hard to pick a favourite from the amazing oysters, the spicy popcorn fish, the mouthwatering prawn brioche and the tasty cauliflower. Not our first time here and definitely won't be our last.

The service was nice. There was delicious, spicy and interesting food. We were a bit disappointed that the pork ribs weren't available - have to try them next time.

Fantastic food. Initiative and tasty. Service was impeccable. Actually booked for the Sunday and turned up on Saturday night. They accommodated us within around 30 mins and seated us on an outside table. WE'LL BE BACK

Amazing flavours! I've never had Cambodian cuisine before, and was very excited by the flavours! Have been back 3 times since and you cannot go wrong with any of the dishes. Highly recommend the chef's choice approx. $50 for 8 courses - great value!

Amok is one the best restaurants in Melbourne, the food is just out of this world. Best time to eat thru most of their menu items before it gets crazy popular. Look out Chapel Street!

Everything is so delicious and great service too! Can't go past the twice cooked beef ribs or the duck curry - meat was so tender it just slide off the bone.

Great food. Really fresh. Really different, for food adventurers - Cambodian fusion. Deep fried prawn brioche bun with chocolate bacon was awesome and so was the Amok surprise for dinner. The $45 7 course banquet was so filling and great value for money. Looking forward to going back

Everything was absolutely delicious, especially the tofu. The service was helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was starting to get lively (we ate early) and so one should probably book in advance.

Amok is quite possibly the best value food experience in Melbourne. It's BYO wine, the banquet is sensational, friendly staff and great location. We had 6 people with us, the banquet is great for a group dinner.

Love this place. Been 3 times now in the last 2 months and cannot rate the food any higher. So well prepared and presented. Staff are so friendly, smiley and chatty and thats tops off the whole experience for me. Would defo recommend i/we will definitely be back soon.
