Being surrounded by books while having breakfast makes the experience feel special. The ricotta hotcakes were delicious and looked great in photos. Prices are a bit much though
Always a good spot to meet up with friends or do some work. A bit pricey though.
Such a cute spot for brunch + coffee. The vibe is super aesthetic with books everywhere, cozy lighting and heaps of little corners for photos. The food actually looks as good as the pics online
Food is light, brunch-style, simple but nicely done and good for coffee + snack moments. Prices are pretty standard for inner city café
Perfect place to yap for hours, take content and pretend you’re in a romcom for a bit. Food is absolutely delish!!!
Quandoo is closing down. This is a planned, phased process and our platform remains available until 30 September 2026.
We had to wait to be seated even though we had a reservation, but once seated it all went smoothly. A bit pricey but I guess you pay the Paddington price tag.
Perfect spot to go by yourself or with a group, enjoy a nice cuppa and a book with your breakfast. they also offer working spaces, so a good call if it's your WFH day.
Service here makes a difference, super attentive without being over the top. The French toast was soft, slightly caramelised and really satisfying.
I tried the smashed avocado on sourdough with poached eggs and it was fresh and nicely done. Definitely a spot I’d come back to for a casual brunch. A bit pricey though.
The decor gives it a really cozy, slightly hidden vibe. The mushroom risotto was creamy and rich without feeling too heavy, great comfort food.
Loved the setting surrounded by bookshelves. The slow cooked beef cheek pappardelle was rich and comforting, and it’s the kind of place you can easily spend hours in.
Great visit! Lovely atmosphere. Would definitely go again in the future.
Amazing seven spice chai tea. Excellent food. Friendly service. Cosy atmosphere
Nice little cafe. Seating a bit cramped. Toasted sandwich was OK but maybe serve with some sauce as a bit dry.
1) Pleasant staff. 2) I prebooked but no table was reserved. 3) They had run out of the dish I wanted. 4) As it was a hot day, the cellar was lovely and cool. 5) The food was tasty but nothing to write home about - poached eggs are supposed to be runny, not hard boiled.
Not very accessible friendly for wheelchairs or wheelie walkers actually.
Nice cafe to enjoy. A lot of books and delicious food.
A little disappointed if I'm honest. Crazy expensive, and I hoped to be inside with all the books, but that room downstairs had no one.
They never reserved out table and the food wasn’t good. Got the Bircher and the fruit tasted like onion.
Excellent venue for book nerd; welcoming ambience;very laid back; no rush from management to move on even though we stayed for 3 hours; good food and great books; hit recommend.
Lovely books make sure you go upstairs after your meal and check out downstairs too
The ambience was great but the food was just average. The seven spice chai was a bit weak and the bagel wasn't New York style.
