The food, service and atmosphere was absolutely perfect. We ordered the long degustation meal and wow, each dish that came out was beautifully presented and so mouth wateringly good.

Everything was wonderful. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable the flavours of the food were outstanding. Overall it was a great birthday treat.

Amazing experience at Deer Duck last night. Our first dining out since covid hit and it was perfect. We have the long course degustation and my husband had matching wines. Every course was great, it was impossible to choose a favourite. The matching wines were fabulous and service was friendly and excellent.

A couple items on the menu were outstanding. The steak was too raw. The service very polite but too slow. The short course took us 2.5 hours.

Food was fantastic and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very charming. My only criticism was drink service. We were asked what type of water we would like and then never received water the entire night. We ordered wine before our meal order was taken however we were only served the wine with 2nd course. I prefer drink service to be served before any food arrives and the fact no one recognised we were waterless the whole evening was a bit disappointing however overall the food made up for the experience.

We had the 7-course menu (short course). Charcoal bread and flavoured butter were lovely, would have preferred having no salt crystals on the charcoal bread though (already enough saltiness from the flavoured butter). Our favourite course was the cured salmon with dill emulsion/ quinoa/ fennel - perfectly balanced. Other dishes were decent but nothing to rave about. Still a nice treat for a special occasion! Atmosphere was great, and each course came out pretty quick :)

Sure, it cost a bit- but I chose to give the 15% tip for a good reason. Excellent food and service. Great evening. See you soon!

It was lovely even with the iso restrictions. Way too much food and would have been happy with just five courses rather than the short course of 7-8 dishes. But if a rich fur 1 and 1/2 hours to be honest. Staff need to focus on order of service as though while we arrived first we were always served our dishes last. Can’t wait for the return of free dining time to truly enjoy the dining experience again. We will be back

Absolutely brilliant place for a special meal. Every serving is delightful, and the staff are cordial and knowledgeable. Not cheap, definitely worth it.

Limited menu. Gnocchi was good but over priced for what it was. Also the one of the slide "cauliflower" was super salty. Sent it back but still got charged for it. There are other many other better restaurant for this price range.

The 7 course degustation was extraordinary. Beautifully balanced with taste and texture. Totally magic.

The restaurant was dark and you felt a little bit squashed in. The meal was quite nice but we would have appreciated being told it was degustation only when we first sat down.

We did the long course and the food was great however it did for a very long time. We were seated at 6.30pm and didn't leave till 10.15pm. I do realise that we did have 9 courses however it would probably be good to try and keep it within 3 hrs or less. I nearly fell asleep during dessert!

We came here for our wedding anniversary and it was wonderful. The staff were very prompt, and welcoming and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend the long course dinner with matching wines. We will be back for sure :)
