Really something different, food and wine degustation try this experience

Cost was 155 pp and I felt like I needed More. Not enough food , over cooked lobster tail, cold potatoes and over powering mango. Huge disappointment

We did a 5 course degustation with matching wines. But the wine pours were very small, not really good value for money.

We had a most enjoyable evening and delightful food. Our selection was the five course degustation, casually delivered over a two hour period. The surroundings are relaxed and intimate.

Thought it was over priced for what for very small portions and only sips of wine

Driven past a thousand time but for a birthday decided to try it. Very strange on entering, a tiny front area, but then off it goes into multiple spaces with a great décor and atmosphere in complete contrast to its corner location on Milton Rd. Excellent well trained unobtrusive staff with a full understanding of menu items if in doubt. The food was exemplary we ordered the a la carte and were very happy with mixed entrée for two and the lamb and duck followed by one of the best cheese platters yet. My only criticism was little interest was shown after the first glass of wine so we had to request the wine list again to select a second as no one asked.

Was a baby sitting nearby who was crying all night and had to wait quite a long time between courses or some more water - definitely our worst experience here after having been twice before

Exceptional food and good service. We will visit again for sure.

We have driven past the restaurant many times, but the interior, the experience, the service, the food, indeed EVERYTHING about it was superb and a most wonderful surprise. We enjoyed the degustation options as well as noting the a la carte. Very well done - for us one of Brisbane's best WELL DONE, WE'LL BE BACK

The food is exceptional, as it always has been. the only issue I have is their new corkage charge, which is effectively $40 per bottle as a group of 8, we obviously had several bottles of wine, they didn’t change the glasses between champagne, white, red and dessert wine until we asked and they didn’t refill glasses (including water glasses) promptly. Mostly we did that ourselves. As a long time customer of this restaurant, I found this new policy disappointing. I loved this restaurant as it has exceptional food and I could always BYO wine. As a wine collector it’s nice to be able to eat out at a great restaurant with wine I have curated from specialty vineyards, so it was disappointing this has now changed.

We were celebrating a special occasion and my son selected the restaurant as he is a vegan and not many good options for vegan fine dining or the menu doesn't look appealing. Our waiter was exceptional and his knowledge of things when we asked him questions was great. The negative was not all plates were uniformly plated. I didn't have any pearls in one course and in another not as much sprinkling (I believe from what I understood- I could be wrong - dried egg yolks (?) it was yellow anyway. I only noticed because my daughter said these pearls are great and what is this yellow sprinkling. So we joked must have been a trainee who garnished the plates. But for a high end restaurant it was not good enough. But beautifully decorated establishment.

Extremely overpriced. And the menu said ricotta for the gnocchi and we got blue cheese. I don’t like blue cheese and am pregnant and not supposed to be eating it. The dessert was $22 and was half a cookie broken into 3 bits with a couple of marshmallows- what an outrage

Went there for anniversary dinner , absolutely beautiful , we had the short course . We will be coming back to try the long course next anniversary!!

I have been to a lot of restaurants and in terms of food, this is the best restaurant I have ever been to (besides one other Michelin star restaurant). I am telling everyone I know to go. we will be back with more people! it was our 6 year wedding anniversary and I am also pregnant, the chef modified his food for me and I was a very romantic night. my hubby also was a chef and he was blown away by the whole experience. fantastic!

Seating uncomfortable. Degustation meal was OK, but I think a little too expensive for what you received.

great food, with every bite delicious. Service was very attentive and faultless. And I understand it is degustation, but even the mains were tiny and overall not good value for money. If we are going to pay $275 for dinner then I expect more than one or two mouthfuls per dish.

The food and restaurant were delightful! The only let down were the duck fat potatoes as a side. While they were ok we expected something a bit more roasted.

Everything was fabulous from when we stepped in the door. The food was magic. The service very attentive. And the decor was so comforting . Haven’t eaten anywhere better in Brisbane.
