/delicious noodles, gyosas and miso - can recommend a peaceful lunch with great service and good.

Food was excellent. The waiter was very pleasant however there was quite a wait for the food 35 minutes at lunch time is a little excessive when going out for a work's lunch.

great food as usual. service was a touch slow but it was very busy. happy to return and have the teppanyaki beef and spider rolls.

We waited 1hr and 20 minutes for our food to come out. In all that time we watched multiple Uber deliveries get picked up - they obviously value their delivery customers more than those at the restaurant. Food was good when it came but by that time we were so frustrated with the service that we wanted to walk out

A good neighborhood gem. Food was lovely and tasty and well presented. I love the beef tenderloin... tender and delicious. The sashimi plate fresh. Good size portions.

Awesome place, beautiful interior but most importantly... Great food! Tried a nice little plum wine with our meal which was nice and the service was very well presented. Price was a little higher than your corner so/every day price but you get what you pay for, great place if you aim to impress!

Consistently good. Food delicious. Service excellent. One of the best Japanese Restaurants in Perth. We dine here fairly regularly and have never had a bad experience. One of our favourite places to take visiting friends.

Beautiful food! Lovely staff helped us choose dishes. Downside, we weren’t offered desert. Lovely ambience although lightning too bright. Overall very much enjoyed. Definitely return.

Everything was good except two of us had the Tepinyaki snapper and we both found it overcooked and therefore dry. Also we both love broccoli but the large cold raw pieces were unappealing. I’ve had this dish before and it was much more enjoyable that time. Everything else was great.

The service was nice and polite however a bit of lacking on the product knowledge( the waitress did not know what was the selection of the fish for the nigiri. The sashimi selection included only the 3 popular fish that you find in most of jap Resturant ( king fish , salmon and tuna ) the first two were nice but the tuna was very average . I was not impress with the sushi roll thy we had at last, nothing special for the price charged !

Nice Gyoza, great Sashimi on a ship and fabulous Tempura. Friendly service and a good selection of Japanese beers and sake. Atmosphere that is not too casual and not stuffy and overall good value.

Food and service were terrific. Great environment, with lots of room between tables. Got suprised with a couple of small but very nice complimentary extras.

It is always a pleasant experience to visit Hayashi....nice staff, great food and good choice of sake. No doubt we will visit again in the not too distant future.

Not the best. Service was slow and had to keep catching their attention. Chicken teriyaki was rather fatty. Gyoza were oily. Beer ordered was about to be poured onto ice in glass as bottle was not in fridge so it was warm! Overall not impressed this time.

Food was delicious and presented so beautifully. Only negatives - very slow to deliver the bottle of wine we ordered, not clearing away the dishes when we were finished and not offering us dessert.

First time dining at this little suburban gem. Service was outstanding, food was top quality and ambience was nice. Only fault was food took a while to arrive as there were quite a few tables of diners.

Great food, service and ambiance. Have been coming here for years and have not been disappointed at all. Also special lunches are good value in the week

I used to be a regular until a couple of years ago when quality and service declined. Finally went back and found everything had improved significantly. Sashimi and bento boxes were delish and the service fast and attentive. Will be back on the rotation!
