Hotel Palisade - Henry Deane

Very nice view to the harbour bridge, very nice cocktails and very nice service! Everything is perfect here It’s good to take selfie here 非常好的景色，非常好喝的饮品，非常nice的店员 没有什么可以挑剔的地方 总之一切都很完美！

Unbelievable views from the Flying Fox seating area. Great wine list and good food to share. Would be high on a list of ‘must do’ for visitors to Sydney.

Great spot. Great service. Food nice but could be a lot more... However the view is the best in Sydney so definitely worth a visit

The hostess who Greeted my parents was very rude and told us we had the wrong time and tried to give us a table At the bar when lots of others were free. I arrived shortly after but my parent told me what had happened. It’s shocking anyone would attempt to put two people in their 70s on a bar stool. A little common sense would make for a much better experience. Also, no beer mats or serviettes so dripping drinks, not cool.

One of my favourite places to eat when visiting Sydney. Great food, great staff and great atmosphere with the most amazing views. Food allergies catered for without any issue...

Great venue with fantastic views. The staff were ver helpful especially Hannah. Food was good, def get the prawns @ the lamb. Will def come back.

Best Sydney bar ever. The atmosphere that this bar has owing to its location and the views that it offers is beyond description....you need to be there to experience and, most importantly, enjoy it. Will be back soon.

The view is quite okay. But the waitress was so RUDE!. As the food are quite expensive, I am expecting some quality of service. I am so disappointed by the serivce provide by this lady. We ordered the king prawns and squard. The squard is very salty.

Very noise. Under staffed, other than the salads and potatoes the meat items were not of quality. Lamb greasy, and flatiron buried in sauce. Expensive

Awesome view, fantastic service, great menu and fabulous food... Verandah is fabulous on a hot day with a cold drink... One of my favourite places when I visit Sydney.

Great space to be in, views all round, quality food (octopus to die for) and good service. Worth a few extra dollars for a lovely afternoon. Recommended!

Staff are really bad and not helpful at all. The wait staff don’t look interested and the food is overpriced for the level of quality.

Henry Deane is stated to be an establishment with “...modern & sophisticated charm”. It is in fact modern, and certainly has great views which it trades on heavily, but lacks any real sophistication or charm. Henry Deane is crowded (sometimes overly so), noisy and has quite expensive sharing food plates with a price point that is not in keeping with either the food standard or the level of service (which was ordinary, apart from one hostess baring her bra-less breasts every time she bent over to serve at the lounge chairs which prevail) . E.g. 3 x small Blackened Leather Jacket Sliders = $45.00, 3 x grilled King Prawns = $34, 1 x Asparagus Salad = $20, 5 x small Scallops = $27.50... certainly ok but none of it sophisticated in either style or substance. Sure go for a drink, take a small snack and enjoy the view, be seen if that’s what lights your fire, but head somewhere else for a better meal as there are plenty of higher standard options in the city and NOMAD and FIREDOOR would be two of many - Henry Deane does not even come close to either.

Outstanding service and great food,started our night on the top level with incredible views and food to match, then moved to a lower level where the staff continued to look after us really well.

Such an amazing space. Perched high above Sydney, the view is just amazing, with floor to very high glass walls. Cocktails and food are top notch and service is 1st class with the friendliness that make it comfortable. Great experience.

Fabulous view and new menu is divine. One of my favourite places in Sydney and consistently good. I love taking friends here for their first time.

Great view and wonder staff to help pair drinks with shared plates. Perfect place for a business lunch to relax and reflect on the year.

Way too LOUD!! This is a nice bar, but definitely should not be mistaken for a restaurant where you want to talk with your guests, let alone hear them at all.

Great views, meal and service. Only downside was fit out doesn’t make most of space (although is very comfortable)

Henry Deane at the Palisade is a fantastic place we always enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the service. We will definitely be back again soon. Love all the dishes.

The venue and views are amazing however I believe the greatest asset of the venue is it's staff. They are absolutely amazing and I believe give some of the best service I have ever had in Sydney. Thank you.

Very enjoyable. Great food and excellent service. 2 hour time limit was a bit of a downer as we would have liked to stay longer.

The view was amazing and a reason to visit, giving the guest a different view of part of the Sydney Harbour, looking up the Parramatta River. Tapas style menu with interesting flavours, fennel seed with straciatella and tomatoes. A crab roll burger with squid ink batter was delicious. There are two floors, four and five and give a different experience, five hsvung a more open view and four more intimate.

The wait staff were unfriendly and inattentive, they booked time was advertised as ‘dinner’ through the booking site but the kitchen wasn’t open, the cocktails were disappointing and uninspired, and the chairs are set such that the people sitting in them look at the divide between the windows, rather than the beautiful view. The cheese was okay, though. And the view is spectacular - one star for the cows and one for Mother Nature.

Superb venue with happy efficient staff who run the restaurant like clockwork but appear to be casual and unflustered and charming at all time . Btw the food and wine was also excellent

We loved the food (the tuna, chilli + watermelon was a highlight) and the wine and the cocktails were deliciously lethal. It was a bit hot inside, and noisy but once out on the balcony all was perfect. You can't beat the views over Sydney and the staff were quick to take orders and refresh drinks. We'll be back!

Great venue nice atmosphere with not so great service. Had a few mishaps with the ordering and delivery of food which won’t corrected on the bill as promised. Was corrected in the end but could have been smoother process

That was terrible, because I didn't sitting near the windows and the cost is too expensive （ 120＄for two people) , i didn't feel full after eating, and that foods not that good! I will eat in that restaurant never again!!

Excellent service,great views and friendly staff.Was well attended professionally . I have visited the lounge in the past and Bar area can get very noisy , so not a very ideal place for any serious discussions.The Bar snacks Menu however is limited and Drinks Menu is quite exhaustive but pricy.

We met friends for lunch and had a wonderful time. The service was unassuming but attentive at the same time. The food was delicious. Each of the share plates packed a flavour punch! And of course the views are amazing! You should definitely go!!!

Awesome fitout and views - still love the revamp of this Sydney icon - menu a little limiting and on the high end - but the croquettes and scallops are a sure thing.

This place is to die for. The staff are amazing. Then you have the food, venue, wines, cocktails and atmosphere. Love it each time I go.

I organised this venue for an international visitor and this is the feedback I received that same night ... The spot for dinner was AMAZING - incredible views (even the locals were taking photos!) and delicious food.

Overall amazing experience, the food and drinks were delicious and the views were amazing. Staff/ service was really good and would definitely recommend!! I will be going back again!

Palisade is my happy place. Long may she stay the way she is. Fabulous vibe, mixed crowd, great food, quality drinks high above the most beautiful harbour in the world.

Absolutely amazing food with views to match. Extensive wine list to accompany the meal. Nothing was a problem for the attentive staff who were able to answer any question about the menu. Looking forward to our next visit!

Great food quality but the menu change means there are no longer any WOW dishes that blow you away. Just another good restaurant now unfortunately.

Great views over Sydney harbour, tasty share plates and good service. A very busy night, and a bit noisy, but staff were friendly and helpful.

Henry Deane (Hotel Palisade) is a five Star venue with service and food to match. We have been many times before and will return again :)

Beautiful drinks, a bit pricy but you are paying for the gorgeous view and decor. Worth the visit, will definitely be returning to hotel Palisade!

This is a lovely hidden gem in the heart of Sydney with 360° views. Lovely staff who will go the extra mile to accommodate guests and always there with a smile. Highly recommend restaurant for locals and overseas visitors.
