We have been to Haymarket Zilver a few times and it was our first time to have yum cha at Bondi Zilver. We liked all the dim sum and the deco of the restaurant.

The food was good in general except the last few pieces of the sweet and sour pork somehow ended up with strong chili on it. The sang chow bow had hardly any meat in it more pasta and it was served at the same time as one of the main dish (prawns) which got cold before we could eat it. The rice came much later with the second main dish. The service was questionable, the restaurant wasn't full, we still had to wait for the main meal while other people were served who came after us. After complaining about it we were told they were "special". I thought everybody should be treated equal as paying customers. I have eaten here before and had a different experience.

Dimsum is delicious, especially the ones with prawns - steamed dumplings and rice rolls. Sesame balls and egg tarts were a treat for dessert. Highly recommended

Food was delicious with one of the best egg tarts I have ever had. Service was great. Staff were friendly and attentive. Our chopsticks were dirty, which was a bit off putting.

Food was authentic and staff were happy to modify dishes to suit. Dishes were served quickly but several reminders were needed to refill teapot and rice bowl. We will be back!!!

We booked a table, but when we got there our name wasn't a list. There were plenty of empty tables, so it wasn't a problem. Food was good, but the service could've been better. It was Ok experience, but we will not come back as there are much better restaurant around the area.

Disappointing. So expensive for such a small portion. Flavour is just so so. Can’t compare with other popular Chinese restaurants like Phoenix or Iron Chef. Won’t go back.

Food was really good for the most part. One dish of chicken was like the curate's egg, good in parts. At around $70 per head, or considerably more if you go for the top seafood dishes, I would have expected a bit better. Service was good and decor is tasteful.

Fine food and good service. It is a traditional Chinese Yam Cha, but mixed up with some western food element. It is amazing and unforgettable.

Terribly inflexible with allergies. Refused to cater for egg allergy claiming EVERYTHING in the kitchen has egg and told my guest to eat at his own risk and not to complain!??! To be a restaurant in a major city and not be able to cater for common allergies is unacceptable. Very disappointing.
