Excellent! Great food and great service... Everything was fantastic, we'll be back
Delicious as always. Fantastic chicken tandoori. Everything lovely and spicy!
Good food good service as usual. They always go the extra mile.
Great flavours, nice ambiance, reasonable price - not sure why it took us so long to frequent Flavour of India!
Great Indian, lots of variants of curries, with wonderful staff. Will return.
Fantastic food and great cocktails as well. We will certainly be back.
Delicious food, very attentive service - chef came and did the rounds checking in on tables and even sent out a special desserts for my friend's bday which was very sweet. With BYO available it's a very reasonably priced tasty dinner out.
The food was great. We enjoyed our dinner. Kudos to FOI Team and Chef Hayat.
Haven’t been here for years. So excited that the food is still completely amazing! Absolutely loved it as did our children for theIt first proper Indian meal.
Noisy due to low ceilings and 2 large groups too
Staff friendly it was a busy night, lovely ambience and the food offerings were great.
This is a fantastic restaurant with delicious authentic dishes. Attentive and professional service. A must visit in Sydney.
The Tandoori Fish and Tandoori Lamb were delicious - both dishes were clean and healthy. We also had the Tandoori Fish but there was too much tomato with it.
The Tandoori fish is a good dish to order but the restaurant should bring it out early before it becomes overcooked.
The staff are lovely and friendly and the restaurant is always very clean. Fabulous food, very tasty.
We always eat the Tandoori Chicken and Tandoori Lamb at the Flavour of India which are always good.
Very large entree servings, ordered too many. Food was delicious but not spicy enough. Would next time ask for spicier. They were busy so the service was a little slow but that can't be helped. They were friendly and knowledgable.
I don't normally write reviews but felt compelled. Staff never smiled. Never asked if we wanted drinks (and again later re more drinks) - we had to ask! Whilst the starter was nice, the main wasn't - odd taste to my chicken tikka masala, burned naan - bland with little flavour. Based on this - I wouldn't recommend.
Long term resident, first time there Wonderful food and service
Great food, chef Hayat is an awesome host. Will come back for the pumpkin curry next time
Sehr freundliche und aufmerksames Personal. Ausgezeichnetes Essen und eine gute Auswahl an verschiedenen Speisen.
Great little neighborhood gem! Highly recommend if you are in the Darling Point area
a very pleasant dining experience with good food and good service
LOVELY PLACE, THE SERVICE IS AMAZING HERE. THANKS GUYS X
Absolutely amazing food and service! Thank you for the experience
The food was excellent! It really tasted so good and the atmosphere was nice Unfortunately we were very dissapointed at the service. The girl that served us seemed very stressed and not serviceminded at all. For exemple; after just finished our meal, being seated just for an hour and ten minutes, she came to us leaving over the bill without us asking for it. As we were waiting for being asked if we wanted dessert or anything else we looked at her with surprise and I asked if we only had the table for an hour? Her answer was that she had a lot of guests waiting! My answer was that we wanted dessert! She just looked stressed. No politeness or excuse at all and I was very polite all the way even earlier when she had forgotten my wine to the dinner and so on. I understand that the girl was unexperienced and didn't have the right feeling for dining paying guests. I hope that she learns that dining guests not only pay for food but also for atmosphere, relaxing and good service. I really liked the food and the restaurant and I will come back soon and hope we will have better service then. Kind regards Susanne and company.
Average quality food. Had to wait ages for the food. Wanted to order dessert and no one ever looked at us, so we just left. Quite expensive for the amount of food you are given... Will not come back as It's just 'another' Indian Restaurant.
We enjoyed the food, particularly the tandoori chicken. However, we were very disappointed to find this time we were charged a transaction fee for paying with a credit card. I don't get charged a transaction fee when I pay my bill at Woolworths so why am I charged one at Flavour of India?
We love this place. The food is consistently good, the service is delightful and attentive. It's BYO. A local favourite
We were happy with the food, however, I would like to understand Flavour of India's views regarding sustainability as we were shocked to be served a drink with a 'plastic' straw! We all know plastic straws end up in the ocean where they harm and kill sea turtles and other marine life because they think they are food. Please stop!
Food was average, price was a bit much too, disappointed
Really good food. Nice staff. Nice place. Clean and decorated bathroom. Enough space for stroller. High chair available.
I was a little disappointed with the quantity of the food in the bowls. The one dessert took 30 minutes to come - a bit too long. we had several waiters serving us rather than just one which might have made us feel a little "unspecial".
Amazing entrees and curries but breads were not up to usual standards! Lovely staff as always and a great vibe thank you!
As usual excellent This place is as good as it gets
Best Indian food in Sydney. I had some interstate guests who were very impressed with the food and the service. A must go-to place for Indian.
We enjoy eating the tandoori dishes at Flavour of India but when we ate here last week, unfortunately, the chicken and lamb tandoori were both overcooked and well done rather than the usual medium-rare.
Great food wonderful service had a lovely night! The tandoori chicken so tender and delicious!
We had a lovely meal last night. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, and the food was excellent. A lot of people in the restaurant and yet it was nice and quiet. I highly recommend Flavour of India.
We always eat the tandoori chicken, lamb and fish which we much prefer over a lot of the deep-fried food which tends to be stodgy and tasteless.
