Flavour of India

Flavours are fabulous and always consistent and love that it is not too noisy , service is great. The only negative is that the portions are pretty small for what you pay.

Nice dining experience let down by the service. Drinks took ages to arrive then main course arrived when we were half way through the starters. Food nice. Chicken tikka masala was the standout. Choices of wine poor. Be better if it was byo. Probably won’t go back tbh.

The staff are welcoming and very helpful . The food was delicious and beautifully presented . We didn’t feel rushed , even though our order was promptly delivered . It was a relaxed dining experience . We will return soon.

Magnifique , une expérience culinaire unique. Nous avons adoré les plats du butter chicken aux entrées , tout était succulent. Le chef est venu se présenté également c’était très agréable, meilleur restaurant indien! Et le cadre était agréable car peu de personnes lorsque nous étions présent . Il mérite amplement ses 5 étoiles !

This restaurant is one of our favourite ms and never fails to deliver great food. The Malabar Prawns and samosas were tasty and the portions are great. FOI makes the best Peshwari naan too. Chef comes out of his kitchen for feedback and to greet customers which is a lovely way to do business. We will keep coming back.

Food was great! Lamb Rogan Josh was one of the best we’ve had. Chef was very sweet. When he learned we were there to move our daughter in for her year in Sydney he gave us a special dessert and performed a little good luck ceremony for her. Would recommend for the food and the service!

Flavour of India is one of the most consistent restaurant experiences out there. We have been going for years and every time the food, the service, the care and the efficiency are the same high level - excellent. The menu is extensive and well thought out and so tasty. The hiring principles are great because we have never experienced anything but brilliant food and service.

We had dinner with friends at Flavour of India on Sunday night. Everyone was happy with the Tandoori Lamb Chops and Tandoori Chicken but unfortunately there was no okra available on the night.

Flavour of India in Edgecliff never fails to deliver a lovely meal with gentle service. Tonight’s samosas, lamb korma and butter chicken (with a little kick) were all great with the rice and peshwari naan. My friend and I catch up here a number of times each year and we never think of going anywhere else in Edgecliff.

floor staff have no experience. We arrived at 6pm and . despite restaurant being empty we could not get the attention of staff to get us seated. once seated we had to stand a nd wave to get their attention. When our food arrived we asked for aditional condiments . 10 minutes later we had to stand and ask them to follow up on the request. And they weren't busy. Wsa much better when you had some younger girls on the floor . We have been long term customers but Manfalay will be our regular . will try again in 6 months
