Meet the Greek

I was with a group of people so decided not to take this up with staff whilst there as it was my choice of dining venue. I have never had a Scotch fillet steak that tough before. It was almost inedible. If you are going to charge $50 for a Scotch Fillet you had better make sure it is top shelf. I was embarrassed for my dining partners. Luckily they chose something else which seemed ok, I will not be back

Nice atmosphere and warm greetings. We’ve ordered the Pork Kontosouvli, BBQ octopus, halloumi and Pastitsio. Portion are decent and all dishes taste great except the octopus was a bit burnt. Overall great staff and food place.

The staff are very accomodating and the place is very cosy. Their seafood platter is a must try.

Absolutely tasteful the amount of complimentary offerings was over the top could not recommend it enough thank you so much the food was amazing

The food was delicious and came out quickly. The portions were great. The lamb and octopus were both juicy and tender and full of flavour.

Excellent food with a large selection and variety. Very traditional style food Very good service. Dined with 3 friends from high school. Now in our 50s Definitely coming back with the family.

we have dined at Meet the Greek for many years but not in the past 7 months. New owners, new decor but wow the prices have risen so much !! we both felt it was nice food but it is very pricey now, the waiters were very pushy about buying drinks, we are not drinkers and that seemed to not impress the waitress. they all had new uniforms and looked good but all seemed just a little disconnected to us. Before it was happier and like one big family atmosphere. That was not there last night, sorry :(

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Meet the Greek at Brighton le Sands and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff were incredibly attentive throughout our entire meal, checking in regularly without being intrusive, which truly made the evening feel special. We had several changes to the number of people dinning and they we very accommodating with these changes. The food was nothing short of spectacular. We had the Greek Banquet. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. From the perfectly cooked Calamari ‘Kalamaraki’ to Lamb Kontosouvli & Chicken BBQ ‘Kotopoulo Tis Skaras’ and the Greek Sweets Platter that left us wanting more, every bite was a delight. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were balanced — you could tell that the chefs take great pride in their craft. The atmosphere was equally impressive. The ambiance struck the perfect balance between casual and refined, with a Greek vibe. It felt inviting and comfortable, making it an ideal setting for team dinner. Overall, Meet the Greek exceeded my expectations in every way. With fantastic food, attentive service, and an inviting atmosphere, it's definitely a place I’ll return to and recommend to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

We had a lovely lunch for my Aunts bday! The food was all served on time even though we could see how busy it was, The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. The servers were very accommodating we will definitely go back for another family event.

We were greeted by Nico and the Welcome was warm and friendly. We ordered the trio of dips, delicious and then the seafood plater for 2 which was enough for 4. The food was authentic Greek and we were definitely full of Greek goodness. We can't wait to return for another Greek fiest at the authentic Greek restaurant

Absolutely amazing, friendly staff, super clean and great presentation. The lamb was cooked to perfection. Bigger dessert variety compared to other places.

Most of the food at Meet the Greek was good, but the service was absolutely terrible. Our entrees came out instantly, but we then waited two hours for our mains—despite asking four times where they were. It was a set menu for just two people, yet the table right next to us, who sat down after us, got their three courses, finished, and left before we even got our mains. On top of that, our table was so small we had to put food on the floor and use a chair for our drinks because there was no room. When our mains finally arrived, the meat was cold. What made it even worse was that the staff seemed more focused on clearing tables to make a dance floor than actually serving their customers. No apology, no urgency—just an overall frustrating experience. Definitely not worth the hassle.

Lovely Greek restaurant, great service and food. I went there for Valetine's Day and there was live Greek music which was nice to listen to. It was noisy that night because the place is literally full of guests, however it doesn't bother me because I knew it would be a busy night. I can't complain and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who want to experience great Greek cuisine.

Overall great restaurant great service food and entertainment. Was disappointed on arrival had to wait an additional 30 minutes standing on the side of the road for my table reservation that was confirmed!

Fabulous food, welcoming and thoughtful approach by the staff, great table service throughout the evening. Beautiful environment with a lively authentic Greek feel. Fabulous live music, with a surprisingly perfect volume to enjoy. Loved the whole night, will 100% return

Our table wasn't ready they tried to accommodate us on a 2 person table even though there were 4 of us then they told us to wait 40 minutes till the next available table was ready so we left Very disappointing because they intentionally over book their tables
