Meet the Greek

Food is good but service is really poor. Booked a table more than a week ago but when we were there, they gave us a table that could barely accommodate for 5 people. They also tried to rush us to leave before we decided if we would like to have dessert

Excellent customer service. Fast service. Exceptionally delicious Greek food. Would recommend to anyone. My family really enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe. Of all the restaurants I’ve been to in Brighton Le sands, I would rate this a 9/10.

Great food but very noisy asked to move to a quieter table but no help given even though one was available shame as the food was great

I can't fault the restaurant for it's food or service at all. The only MINOR thing for me was that we were seated right by the front door and it was very drafty.

Good atmosphere but waitress did not listen to allergy requirements and served wrong thing. Also chef was unable to accommodate for dietary requirements for dishes e.g. instead of potatoes chips to substitute for sweet potato or cooked veggies.

Food is delicious! Everything we ordered was delicious but the haloumi chips were the standout. We ordered a selection of share plates and the serving size is perfect but of course we ordered too many plates and had to take food home so we could make room for dessert - the loukamades

We decided to have a 'tapas' style lunch by sharing lots of meze starters. Great food, attentive staff and wonderful atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Service and food was excellent. Great scenery and decor. Well priced also. Lots to choose from on the menu. Gave us dessert on the house for a birthday.

Warm and welcoming atmosphere, fast and friendly service, delicious and well-presented dishes. Highly recommend the Loukaniko (pork, leek and fennel sausage) and freshly made Spanokopita for meze (starters). For dessert we had the most divine Baklava I've ever eaten; not your usual small, cold, compressed and sickeningly sweet slice like at other restaurants - this was huge, beautifully spiced and gorgeously presented. Overall lovely dining experience, thank you!

Food great, couldn't fault the service, not budget restaurant, but you get what you pay for. Outside tables would be quite noisy. I'd go back.

Food was nice chips were abit under done, service was abit slow and had to ask for plates to be cleared between courses. Forgot one of our drink orders also.

Delicious food, generous portions, great staff and a really nice feel to the restaurant, only down side was it was quite noisy and at times difficult to hear conversation. They also catered for special dietary requirments well (both dairy and gluten free). I'll definitely be going back again!

Fast service for entree and main, good food just a little loud and a little slow in coming back to us to get desert orders.

Great food, but not enough waiter and taking long time to get an attention. Otherwise great Dips and meat platter, Greek salad was also very nice.

An absolute awesome place to be, of the few restaurants in Sydney that are very authentic Greek. Atmosphere was like being in the old country, staff were great, food was impeccable and arrived in a timely manner. Great selection of Greek spirits, beer, wine and soft drink, really felt like a usual Greek family gathering, definitely recommend!

Excellent food and service! Everything was delicious and super fast cooked . Main meals was huge, lamb and calamari was yummy .Nice place for family dinner !Highly recommend.

The meat was a bit burned and so it was a bit hard to eat. However overall, the meat quality was good and I think fresh.

Great little Greek restaurant, with a great atmosphere, good service and great food. The menu appeals to all types and has a nice variety of classic Greek dishes.

Service was average. Was seated next to the door that kept slamming from the wind and was cramped up against another table. The food wasn’t that flavoursome.

Always excellent food and service with good portion sizes but becoming a little expensive for family meals. But, we'll be back! Just next time without the kids.

Good food and service, we ordered the banquet but the feel amongst all of us was that there could have been more meat for the mains. The entrees were plentiful and the food overall was delicious.

Meet the Greek has a wide range of delicious food. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly and highly professional. The atmosphere is pleasant and the location is excellent. Would definitely go back!

Great food great vibe. Books no online very easy no hassles on arrival. We had been before and taken friends who said it was great and would be back with other friends. Only downfall always noisy as always full

Great atmosphere and food was terrific have now been there 3 times and had individual dishes as well as buffet. Recommend the buffet if going in group to experience different Greek foods

Staff were great, they recommended items from the menu. They were always making sure we were okay and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend going here

Food was below average especially relative to the price - lamb was dry. Our dishes lacked flavour. Customer service was below average.. one waiter even broke a wine glass right behind my parents and was not that apologetic or concerned given the danger of being cut by broken glass. Waiters were literally dropping our dishes on the table rather than placing them. We sensed some attitude or disregard. It was not a pleasant experience. Never ever going back again, nor would I recommend! Would tell people to stay away.

I enjoyed my visit to Meet The Greek. The staff were polite and delivery of food was efficient. I would recommend this to others looking for tasty Greek food.

Food and service was OK. Entrees were good, main meals nothing to write home about. Did not have deserts. Probably would not go back there.

Usually a great experience....whilst the food was still it’s usual fabulous quality, the service was terrible. They were way under staffed and we and other tables were waiting a long time to order/for drinks/food etc.

Great food, enormous servings, friendly staff, nice surrounds but everything came out so fast...There was no time just to sit and enjoy the meal. Ended up taking home a doggie bag.

Atmosphere good. set menu was good but had no desert. went next door for ice cream. Service ok. Had to wave down too many times.

Great food brilliant service staff are very friendly highly reccomonded the Lamb shoulders was delioush and a big hit with our group. We will definitely be back
