We went for lunch, the menue was excellent but the lunch menue was lovely and excellent value. Excellent customer service made this a wonderful occasion.

Unfortunately, this is the first time the food had not excelled. There was an attempt from staff to rectify this once raised, which was nice.

Overall the service was OK, food was OK, but certainly did not justify the high prices charged. Oysters and scollops were very good, fish was OK, but the prawns and particularly the bugs were not crisp and fresh, disappointing really. The atmosphere was noisy and it all felt more like a fish and chippery or even a fishmonger (with smell) than a restaurant with high prices. Our search for a good seafood restaurant continues.

This place was excellent. The staff were fantastic/ helpful, professional and personal. The food was absolutely beautiful- we will be back

We have been coming here for the last 10 yrs and its our 30th Wedding Anniversary on Tues so we went there for lunch yesterday! We always have a great experience and enjoy the food! We will be back as always!

A great dinner. Attentive service & amazing food including sashimi, prawns, octopus & the calamari salad was a highlight. We are local & we love coming here. Recommend.

A little underwhelming. The steak was a poor cut, sinewy and chewy. The pasta was quite dry. The seafood in both dishes was nice and the sauce the surf side of the surf’n’turf was top notch. Creamy, smoky and we ended up using that on the pasta. Service was good. I had a beer from the tap which was not very cold which was odd. Overall, not as impressed as the last time I went to Richmond Oysters when it had a restaurant in Oakleigh.

Great food. We were a party of 4 and shared two platters - hot and cold seafood. Food was fabulous and enough for us. Will definitely go back.

Very average seafood , poorly presented, some of the so called hot food was cold ie the hot pot mussels were cold and overall was no where near a good dining experience. The service was very poor, except for Harry who was good. At best this place is a fish and chips shop masquerading as a seafood dining experience.

Without a doubt, the best oysters I have ever eaten, and I have eaten oysters all over the world. The wild barramundi and paella were excellent, but we left raving about the outstanding quality of the oysters, and we're already planning to dine at Richmond Oysters again next week. The waitstaff were very helpful and friendly, and the service was fast and efficient. If you're a seafood lover, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Lovely helpful staff. Food and drinks were fine. Oysters were fresh. Environment could be more atmospheric. This is more like a cafeteria.
